The Wirral, the peninsula across the Mersey from Liverpool, is where my mum grew up. We had a lovely time there, visiting family and family friends. It was full of memories and links to my grandparents, who passed away a few years ago.

Moreton Presbyterian Church - my grandparents were very active in their local church for years. We were given a tour, including of the new kitchen. Apparently my grandmother spent a lot of time in the kitchen there! It was lovely to hear stories about their lives. |

And finally, because it was 2015, a centenary war memorial of cascading poppies. Lest we forget and repeat. |
